Romchester Man Sentenced for Setting Woman on Fire, Killing Her

The man found guilty of killing a woman by setting her on fire will serve 25 years to life in prison.

Troy Parker was convicted last month of murder and arson charges, after less than an hour of jury deliberations.

The jury found Parker set 38-year-old Fantasia Stone on fire in the hallway of a Jefferson Avenue apartment building back in April.

Police say the two were dating at the time.

Stone was a mother of five.

Prosecutors say Parker had several possible motives for killing Stone, including money and drugs.
