Sex Offender Accused of Violently Raping Teen Girl

A Rochester man is accused of breaking into a home and violently raping a 14-year-old girl.

Police say 47-year-old Kelvin Hunt choked and raped the girl in the home early Friday morning.

He then kidnapped the girl, took her elsewhere, and raped her again.

Hunt also allegedly took photos of the girl, while also threatening her with a gun.

Hunt was arrested yesterday at a Gates motel, after allegedly leading police on two separate chases.

Authorities recovered a 45-caliber gun and 80 grams of heroin from his room.

Hunt is charged with predatory sexual assault and sexually motivated burglary, along with drug and weapons charges.

He was convicted of sex abuse in 1995, and was on parole for a 2004 weapons conviction.
