Charges are pending for a man in his 40s who crashed a stolen car during a police chase on Rochester's north side.
It happened late last night when officers on patrol near Weyl Street spotted the car reported stolen at gunpoint.
The driver refused to stop, and police tailed him until he hit a fire hydrant and a tree on Kohlman Street.
He was being checked out this morning at the hospital.
