Truck Driver Killed in Crash on Rochester's West Side

A driver is facing charges for a deadly crash on Rochester's west side.

Police say Jeff Eden was drunk when he struck and killed a tractor-trailer driver who was in back of his rig checking on a mechanical issue.

It happened around 1 a.m. on Lexington Avenue.

The truck driver, Gene Kulp of Red Creek, was pinned against the rear of his rig and died at the scene.

Eden is charged with vehicular manslaughter, DWI, and driving without a license.
