Rochester police say a man was fatally injured early this morning in a shooting at the corner of Dewey and Lexington Avenues. The 29-year-old victim was found in the parking lot of a corner gas station and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Witnesses told police there was a fight between a number of people in the parking lot leading to an exchange of gunshots. It's not clear if the victim was an intended target. The same gas station was the scene of a non-fatal shooting early Wednesday.
