What had once been the area's only 24-hour animal hospital says it will be closing.
Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Services says in a social media post it has limited options because of the shortage of qualified vets with emergency and surgical care experience.
The hospital on White Spruce Boulevard cut its hours last year, and again earlier this month. It now plans to close no later than November 27th.
Starting today, it will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
