UPDATE: City Man Arrested in Shooting Near Rochester Transit Center

UPDATE: Rochester police have made an arrest in yesterday's drive-by shooting outside a corner store on St. Paul Street.

Twenty-eight-year-old city resident Sam Lopez is charged with two assault counts.

Two men were wounded, one critically, in the shooting.

The investigation is continuing.

It was the second shooting outside the store in less than 24 hours.

Meantime, Mayor Malik Evans has shut down the store.

It's next to the Rochester transit center.

There's been a second shooting near Rochester's transit center in less than 24 hours.

Two men were shot at a corner store on Saint Paul Street this afternoon.

A man in his 40s has life-threatening injuries, while a man in his 30s is expected to survive.

Saint Paul Street is currently blocked off from Andrews to Mortimer Street for the investigation.

A 14-year-old boy was shot in the same area around 6:30 last night.

He's expected to recover.
