Governor Hochul is touting a new transit-oriented development project that's now complete downstate.
The governor is hoping there will be more similar developments in other parts of the state, as part of the solution to the housing crisis.
She has signed a series of executive orders designed to boost building -- saying the municipalities who do -- will have priority for state grant programs and discretionary spending.
