Former Greece Police Officer Sentenced For Possession of Child Pornography

A former Greece Police officer will serve 15 months in prison, and five year's probation for possession of child pornography.

Retired Officer Raymond Dipasquale will also have to register as a sex offender.

DiPasquale was found last fall with roughly 700 images and videos showing child pornography on his electronic devices.

State troopers were acting a tip from the Internet Crimes Task Force in Albany when they searched his home and found the images.

In some of the videos, children were subjected to violence and sexual abuse.

DiPasquale pleaded guilty.
