Former Rochester Bus Driver Indicted for Allegedly Molesting Girl

A Rochester school bus driver accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in a school van has been indicted by a federal grand jury.

74-year-old Tomas Rosario faces several federal charges, including attempted production and receipt of child pornography and witness tampering.

Prosecutors say Rosario was caught on surveillance video inside the van in March of last year, allegedly directing the girl to do something sexually inappropriate.

He then allegedly molested her, then told the girl not to tell anyone about what happened.

A search of Rosario's phone turned up child pornography.

If convicted, Rosario could get 15 to 30 years in prison.
