MCDOH: Brighton Fox Tested Positive for Rabies

The fox who bit several people in Brighton last week is confirmed to have rabies.

The Monroe County Health Department says anyone who came in contact with the fox should immediately contact their healthcare provider.

They're also asked to contact the County’s Rabies Control Program at (585) 753-5171.

Last Friday, the fox nipped people near homes at Hollyvale Drive and Tilstone Place, before police killed it.
