Man Charged in 2nd Rochester Shooting

Rochester police have made an arrest in a shooting earlier this month southwest of downtown.

Twenty-six-year-old Marquis Hooks was arrested yesterday in Irondequoit and was charged with assault and criminal mischief.

Police say he shot and wounded a 38-year-old man around noon April 12 near Plymouth Avenue and Exchange Boulevard.

Hooks was already facing charges in a shooting two days prior.

He allegedly unloaded several rounds into a home on Stanfield Terrace with people inside
