Delivery Apps Cant Add Restaurants To Their App Without Their Knowledge

Monroe County Executive Adam Bello has signed a new law that prohibits food delivery services from promoting the delivery of a restaurant's products without the restaurant's written consent.

Bello says restaurants may have their own delivery service but are added to a delivery app without their knowledge and end up paying commissions to those apps.

And he notes some apps provide out-of-date menus that misrepresent the restaurants.
