Visitor Restrinctions in Hospitals Again Due to COVID

Rochester Regional Health and University of Rochester Medicine are once again restricting visitors, due to the recent COVID surge.

Visitors and patients are required to wear masks and undergo COVID-symptom screenings.

No visitors will be allowed for COVID-positive patients, along with ER and cancer center patients.

There are exceptions for pediatrics, labor and delivery, end-of-life, and patients with intellectual disabilities.

The new rules go into effect Wednesday morning.
