Rochester's Puerto Rican Festival is Being Scaled Down

Rochester's Puerto Rican Festival is being scaled down this year and will be held on consecutive Saturdays, beginning tomorrow.

The gathering tomorrow is planned for La Marketa on North Clinton Avenue, where organizers say the crowd will be capped at 1,500.

In past years, the festival has drawn up to 30,000 people.

Non-vaccinated people are being asked to wear masks.

Rochester Police and security officers will be standing by to keep people safe.

The festival continues a week from tomorrow at Parcel 5 downtown.
