Bail Set for Ogden Woman Accused of Killing Husband

Bail has been set at $200,000 for the Ogden mother accused of killing her husband in what police say was a deliberate traffic crash.

Her attorney had argued for a lower amount, saying she is not a flight risk.

Jennie Clark is charged with second-degree murder in the crash in the overnight hours of July 4.

Police say Clark drove across the oncoming lane of Colby Street and hit a utility pole. The pole was sheared off and killed Matthew Clark in the passenger seat.

Prosecutors say Clark threatened her husband and her daughters, asking if they were ‘willing to die.’ And they say she showed a depraved indifference to human life when she crashed the van.
