Rochester Stimulus Bill Comment Session June 3rd

Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren will take comments from citizens tonight on how best to spend the $200 million the city is getting under the recent federal stimulus bill.

Mayor Warren says the funding gives Rochester a historic opportunity to shape the city's recovery in a way that -- she says -- delivers the equity citizens deserve.

The money was granted to help control the spread of the virus, replace lost government revenue, help struggling households and businesses, and address systemic public health and economic issues that have contributed to the unequal impact of the pandemic.

The comment session is set for 7 p.m. on June 3rd on Zoom, and the link will be posted on the city website.
