Police have confirmed that that the human remains found Monday in Durand Lake are those of Lisa Shuler, the Irondequoit woman found dismembered last week outside her home on Culver Road near Sea Breeze.
Authorities have not said how she died.
Shuler lived with her boyfriend Seth Larson, who is wanted as a person of interest.
He was known to be in Maryland last week. He got a traffic ticket there before he became a person of interest in Shuler's death.
