New York State has Administered Over 2.1 Million Coronavirus Vaccines

New York state has now administered more than two-point-one million doses of the coronavirus vaccines.

Governor Andrew Cuomo released the latest vaccination numbers for the state yesterday.

After eight weeks of vaccinations, the state has given shots to more than one-point-six million residents, with more than a half-million of them also receiving their second dose.

Nearly one-million doses administered in the state have gone to residents of New York City.

While the state's weekly allotment of doses from the federal government has increased, Cuomo says New York still needs more.
