Rochester Man Involved in Fatal September Shooting Arrested

U.S. Marshalls and state police have arrested a Rochester man who has been wanted since two men were shot storming his apartment on September 25th.

Rochester Police say 25-year-old Markus Boone shot and killed Marcus Patterson and wounded the second man when they kicked in his door on Emerson Street.

Boone took off, but police found 29 bags of crack packaged for sale in the apartment.

He was arrested Saturday and found with a stolen handgun.

Charges in the shootings will be decided by a grand jury. For now, Boone is being held without bail on drug, weapon and stolen property charges.
