Rochester Police have announced a second arrest in the murder of a Rochester man, whose body was found over a year ago in a garage on Lakeview Park. Samuel Ortiz had been missing for nearly a week when his body was found.
One year later, Police announced the arrest of parolee Kimberly Jones for the kidnapping and murder of Ortiz. Today police made a second arrest, 29-year-old David Gardner. Gardner was being held as a parole absconder in North Carolina. He was turned over to New York authorities today. He previously served time for the 1997 murder of John Webster in Rochester.
