28 More Confirmed Cases of COVID-19 in Monroe County

Monroe County health officials are reporting 28 more confirmed cases of COVID-19 since Saturday.

More than half of those cases are in people under 40.

The number of confirmed cases in the county since March is just shy of 400.

There were no new deaths. Since the start of the pandemic, 277 people in the county have died of the disease.

Statewide, there have been five more COVID-19 deaths and 677 new confirmed cases since Saturday.

The total number of deaths in New York since the start of the pandemic is just shy of 25,000.
