Gov. Cuomo Gets Test For COVID-19 Live To Demonstrate Ease, Speed

In an effort to demonstrate the ease and speed of a COVID-19 diagnostic test, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo actually took one at his Sunday press briefing. He explained that there are now 700 testing facilities across the state.

Cuomo added the sites are available to anyone who is demonstrating symptoms, anyone recently in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus and any essential workers. He announced that this criteria is now being extended to anyone who is slated to return to work during Phase One of the reopening. The governor then invited a physician up to his table and stood while she performed a nasal swab test on him.
