RIT Student Sues College For Switch To Remote Learning

An RIT student is suing the school over the switch to online classes.

The lawsuit seeks reimbursement for tuition and fees, claiming that online classes are less costly and don't offer the same experience as in-person classes.

The lawyer for plaintiff Nicholas Bergeron says RIT was right to send student home during the pandemic, but he says students deserve pro-rated fees.

RIT is not commenting on the lawsuit.
