Grocery Stores Limiting Number of Shoppers in Stores at Any Given Time

Wegmans is the latest chain to announce a limit on the number of shoppers allowed in its stores at any given time.

The stores are limited to 15 to 20 percent of capacity.

Customers line up at one entrance and are counted as they enter.

Walmart. Target and Trader Joe's have similar policies in place.

Tops says it has taken other steps to promote social distancing, but has not put a limit on capacity.
