Chris Collins Asking For Second Delay In Sentencing

Former Congressman Chris Collins is asking for another postponement for the start of his prison sentence.

His attorneys said in a letter to the judge that Collins has risk factors for the coronavirus and it would dangerous for him to report, as scheduled, on April 21.

The attorneys want the date pushed back to June 23.

Collins was sentenced to 26 months for his guilty plea to insider trading charges.

He was originally scheduled to report to prison last month, but was granted a five-week delay.
