Former Head Of Rochester Housing Authority Facing A Third Indictment

A third federal indictment has been brought against the former head of the Rochester Housing Authority, George Moses.

The new charges allege Moses used funds belonging to a non-profit he headed, Northeast Area Development, to buy items for himself and others.

Those purchases included a cruise vacation, spa visits, firearms, dental bills and tickets to a Knicks game. It says Moses also used Freedom Community Enterprises funds to buy himself a $20,000 time share in Florida.

Moses and Authority secretary Janis White were previously charged with conspiring to defraud Rochester Housing Charities and the social service agency Quad A for Kids.
