Court Rules Against Legal Challenges In Whole Foods Project

An appellate court has reportedly ruled against two of the legal challenges against the planned Whole Foods store in Brighton.

Channel 8 reports one case challenged the town's zoning for the project, and the other claimed the town violated open meetings laws during the approval process.

A third case -- involving easements -- has been sent back to a lower court for reconsideration.

The Daniele Family is planning to build the store, and other shops, at the former Mario's restaurant property along Monroe Avenue.
