A Brighton man is scheduled to make his initial court appearance today for a weekend shooting in Rochester.
Thirty-four-year-old Anthony Battiste was arrested at his home Saturday night, hours after a 35-year-old woman was shot at 199 Lewis Street.
She was critically injured but is expected to survive.
Battiste was charged with second-degree attempted murder in the 2nd degree, assault, burglary and a gun crime.
