"Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" Campaign Beings Today

State and local police throughout New York are stepping up patrols to crack down on impaired driving during the holiday season.

Enforcement of the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign starts today and runs through January 1st. Last year, more than 144-thousand tickets were given out and over four-thousand-people were arrested for impaired driving.

Governor Cuomo said he wants New Yorkers to travel safely and there will be a zero tolerance for driving under the influence.
