Rochester school Superintendent Terry Dade has named his new deputy superintendent.
Skaneateles Superintendent Lynda Quick is resigning from her current job in January to take the job in Rochester.
Quick will oversee operations, administration and teaching and learning in the district. In effect, she'll be filling the jobs of two deputies who were dismissed last week.
Her hiring comes just days after the hiring of a new CFO for the district -- Monroe County Chief Financial Officer Robert Franklin.
