Federal Drug Charges For Rochester Man

A Rochester man is facing prison time after being convicted of federal drug charges.

Michael Wyatt was sentenced to nearly 16 years behind bars for conspiring to possess with intent to distribute drugs.

Federal prosecutors say Wyatt was the leader of a drug trafficking organization that distributed significant quantities of fentanyl, heroin, and crack cocaine throughout the Rochester area.

Prosecutors say Wyatt and three co-defendants would sell the various drugs out of houses on Emerson Street and Saratoga Avenue.

All three co-defendants have been convicted and sentenced for their role in the conspiracy.
