Man Pleads Not Guilty In Webster Stabbing Death

The man accused of stabbing and killing a woman in Webster last month has made another court appearance.

Piero Scala pleaded NOT guilty yesterday to charges of second degree murder and criminal possession of stolen property.

Scala was arrested at his home last month for the death of 56-year-old Cathy O'Brien.

Court papers say O'Brien was stabbed several times October 7.

Authorities had said that Scala and O'Brien knew each other.
