'Excessive Speed' Factor In Steuben County Quadruple Fatal Crash

Authorities in Steuben County say excessive speed was involved in the crash last weekend that killed four people.

Driver Dustin Drake, of Prattsburgh, survived the crash, but has not been charged. His vehicle hit a tree on County Route 76.

The crash killed his four passengers -- Korbie Higgins, of Bath; Coy Miner, of Hammondsport; Adam Bellamy, of Pulteney; and Nicole Wise, of Prattsburgh.

At least some of those passengers were not wearing seat belts.

Investigators plan to say more at a news conference Monday morning.
