The woman charged in the random killing of a young mother in Brockport will remain in a psychiatric facility for at least another year.
Holly Colino's next hearing is next July.
Last fall, she pleaded not responsible by reason of mental illness for the shooting death of Megan Dix in August 2017. Dix was killed as she ate her lunch in her parked pickup truck.
Colino is being held at the Rochester Regional Forensic Unit and has asked for continued custody.
Her condition will be evaluated each year to determine where she will be held.
