The National Weather Service has issued a Lakeshore Flood Watch for Wayne, Northern Cayuga and Oswego Counties...from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning.
The weather service says westerly winds will combine with the high levels on Lake Ontario to create greater wave action and an increase in potential for lakeshore flooding along the eastern end of Lake Ontario, especially in bays and low lying areas along the shore. Increased shoreline erosion can be expected.
