Lawmakers in State Senate and Assembly Lay out Budget Plans

Lawmakers in the state Senate and Assembly have laid out what they'd like to see in this year's state budget.

Plans revealed yesterday show a split with Governor Cuomo on issues such as legalizing recreational marijuana, banning single-use plastic bags and taxing opioids. They also rejected the criminal justice reforms the governor is demanding be part of any final agreement.

The end of the state's fiscal year is March 31st.
