Senator Schumer is hoping Amazon will change it's mind and open it's second headquarters in Queens.
Amazon walked away from a deal to build there two weeks ago, after push-back from some local lawmakers who were not in favor of the tax breaks Amazon was set to get. Schumer says he hopes the company would reconsider even if it meant renegotiating the deal.
Governor Cuomo says he reached out to Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos this past week hoping to resurrect the deal.
