City Hall to Host Event for National Day of Racial Healing

The City of Rochester is hosting a National Day of Racial Healing with the National League of Cities. Mayor Lovely Warren, along with Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Bob Duffy, City Council President Loretta Scott and several special guests will be participating in Project Let’s Get REAL, REAL standing for Race, Equity And Leadership. The event will take place tomorrow morning at 10a.m. at City Hall.

REAL stands for Race, Equity and Leadership. It outlines specific steps to advance racial equity through smart policy decisions, strong civic engagement, and accurate portrayals of people of color.

Mayor Warren says the events will focus on creating greater empathy and understanding in the community.
