Bankrate.com Study Finds NY The Worst State to Retire

New York is the worst state in the country to retire.  

That's according to a new Bankrate.com study which has New Mexico and Maryland tied for second worst.  

The study looked at factors such as the cost of living, the crime rate, taxes, weather, cultural vitality, and quality of health care.  It found that South Dakota is best place to retire, followed by Utah, Idaho, New Hampshire and Florida.
