State Police in Western New York are getting drones.
The drones can be used to keep troopers out of dangerous situations and better photograph crash sites and crime scenes.
Troopers headquartered in Batavia will get one of the drones this month, but Governor Cuomo says 14 more drones will be distributed throughout the state soon.
