Rochester School #7 on Edgerton Park was put on lockout today after an out-of-state call to police said a gun was in a dumpster near the school.
Police checked, and did find the gun. In the meantime, the school's doors were locked but classes continued as usual inside.
Parents got a robocall advising them of an unusual event.
