Two Arrests Made Following Investigation Into Sale and Distribution of Drugs in Albion

Two people are facing drug related charges following an investigation into the sale and distribution of drugs from Rochester to Albion.

Albion Police and the Orleans County Major Felony Crime Task Force executed a search warrant on a vehicle yesterday on East State Street in Albion, and found heroin and crack cocaine that was packaged for sale.

That led to the arrest of 46-year-old Victor Simmons and a 17-year-old boy, who were both charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Simmons was also charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance.

Authorities say further arrests and charges are pending.
