An arrest has been made in connection with a homicide investigation in Rochester.
Rochester Police say they have arrested 31-year-old David Torres and charged him with second degree murder in connection with the death of 26-year-old Devon Lewis of Gates.
Police say on Friday officers were called to the area of Sherman Street and Emerson Street for the report of an assault.
When they arrived on scene they found Lewis suffering from injuries to his upper body. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Torres will be arraigned tomorrow.
